What materials are your toolboxes made from?

Our toolboxes are made with sturdy cold-rolled steel and are powder coated.

Are your casters non-marking / suitable for clean rooms?

Most of our toolboxes come equipped with black polyurethane casters. While they are durable and smooth-rolling, we cannot guarantee that they will be non-marking for a clean room. Our salon carts come with nylon casters.

How much weight can the drawers hold?

100lbs –250lbs depending on the model.

What are ball-bearing slides?

Ball-bearing slides are mechanical devices that use steel ball bearings housed in a carriage or frame to support and facilitate the smooth, effortless sliding motion of objects like drawers, shelves, or industrial equipment. By replacing friction or roller systems with rolling ball bearings, they significantly reduce friction and offer a higher load capacity and durability

What makes the SlideLock system unique?

Unlike standard toolbox locks that only secure the drawer fronts, our SlideLock system locks the slides themselves, which stops the drawers from opening at the source for stronger, more reliable security.

Do your toolboxes come fully assembled?

Our toolboxes require minimal assembly. All you need to do is attach the casters and side handle(s).

Keys & Parts

I think my toolbox is missing parts. What should I do?

Often, the parts (keys, bolts, casters, etc.) are packed inside the drawers in a small yellow baggie to keep them safe during shipping. Please check behind or underneath the drawers first. Most of the time, they’re just tucked away. If you still can’t find them, contact our customer service team and we’ll get you taken care of.

I lost my toolbox keys… can I get replacements?
Can I order extra keys when I purchase a toolbox?

Yes, but you’ll need the 4-digit code from the lock. You can order additional keys here.

Do you offer keyed-alike sets for multiple toolboxes?

All our toolboxes are keyed at random, however, you can order replacement locks and change them out to have them all keyed the same.

Are replacement parts available (drawer slides, casters, locks, etc.)?

Yes, we have replacement parts. You can find them here.

Ordering & Payment

What does the ordering process look like?

Once you place your order through our website, our team will be notified. Our warehouse will begin processing your order. Once it ships, you will receive an email containing tracking information.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale discounts?

Can I customize my toolbox (color, size, configuration)?

We can offer customization on bulk quantities of 100 units or more.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Currently, we do not offer payment plans, but are currently working to offer these services.

Do you sell gift cards?

Unfortunately we do not offer gift cards.

What if I buy something and then it goes on sale?

If your purchase goes on sale within 2 days of your order date, contact us and we’ll honor the sale price with a refund of the difference.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is dependent on the item, your location, and shipping method. This can take anywhere from 2-10 business days. Please note, occasionally there are unforeseen carrier delays.

Do you ship internationally?

We are unable to ship internationally.

Can I choose liftgate service for freight delivery?

Our warehouse will always check the shipping address prior to sending out your order. All residential addresses will have a liftgate service automatically added.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

It’s crucial for you to notate any visual damage with the delivery driver and have them write it down. Please take photos of all damage and contact us at info@vipertoolstorage.com as soon as possible so we can submit a damage claim with the carrier and provide a resolution for you.

What’s the best way to organize tools in your drawers?

There’s no right or wrong to organize your tools, but having drawer organizers will help.

Do you sell paint touch up?

Since our toolboxes are powder-coated, we do not have touch up paint. We recommend you remove one of the drawers and bring to your local hardware store and have their paint department color match for you.
