The Original Pink Box Story
It all started with a problem: salon carts were flimsy, wood or plastic, and about as secure as a shoebox. An esthetician friend mentioned to The Original Pink Box founder, “I need something lockable, in pink, so people stop ‘borrowing’ my expensive tools.” Challenge accepted.
The very first Original Pink Box was born: a compact 18-inch, 2-drawer mini chest that locked up tight and stood out loud.
At first, retailers didn’t know what to do with it. Sears put it in the garden section because the tool aisle wasn’t "ready", but sales exploded and The Original Pink Box proved that strength, style, and sass aren’t mutually exclusive.
From there, the legend only grew. At a trade show, a customer threw down the next gauntlet: “Cool boxes. But can you make tools, too?” We said yes—and The Original Pink Box tool line was born.
Today, The Original Pink Box is still rewriting the rules of storage and tools. Tough enough for real work, bold enough to stand out, and unapologetically pink. Because who said heavy-duty can’t look good?
